Optimized Landing Pages
Optimized Landing Pages are important to establish, in order to capture motivated searchers and / or specific marketing campaigns. When you're trying to market/capture a specific item, you need to have a specific page. Too many options or too vague of information can be the difference between capturing a potential lead or turning them off because they couldn't find their specific answer quickly.
Remember: All your web pages have the potential to be a landing page, or can be refined as one.
What are the keys to a successful Landing Page?
- User Friendly Layout - It is important to have the format of your landing page be positioned to provide the user a well thought-out and clean message. It is important to emphasis the key message, giving it the greatest impact to your viewers.
- Don't Disappoint - If you are running a campaign and the call to action promises to provide certain information, make sure that this information is there and easy to find. Provide the ability for your potential customer/lead to get answers to what they are looking for.
- Easy Call to Action - By coming to your landing page, the user is already interested. Don't waste this opportunity by not providing an easy/convenient way for the potential customer to take action. Always make sure that if you are requesting information, that there is a perceived value for doing so. Make sure your content keeps up the momentum your lead had when they decided to come to your page.
- Simple is Usually Best - A busy page or too many options can confuse or make it difficult. Provide a simple, easy to navigate page with few choices. Also remember, these are most likely pre-qualified visitors, so the content should be formatted with that in mind.
