Project Management
Throughout our process of Web Development, or in fact, any work done with a client, we strongly believe in having an open dialog and being as transparent as possible. We encourage our clients to be actively involved along the process of a project, as their feedback/collaboration not only makes us produce/complete a better project/application for them, it keeps them involved along the way, and keeps the momentum of the project high.
In order to manage and communicate the phases, milestones, and tasks of a project, we utilize activeCollab, a project Management and Collaboration Tool. We have been able to tailor this project management collaboration tool to fit our needs and our clients.
activeCollab
activeCollab is a project management and collaboration tool that is setup under the Orbital Alliance website. The software provides an area where we can collaborate with our team, clients and contractors and keep projects on track while retaining full control over access permissions and our data. We have the ability to share documents and ideas, and let our clients keep up with our progress and provide crucial feedback during each stage of development.
activeCollab is very similar to Basecamp; however, there are a few differences. It is self hosted, and resides on our servers, thus allow us to control the data, not a 3rd party. The ticket functionality is great, as sometimes a simpler approach to managing items is needed. It also nice that there are no monthly fees, and no additional charges per user, so we don't have to pay anything additional that has to be passed on to our clients. Learn More >
